About LOFD

We proudly serve the community of Lone Oak, Texas and a large portion of the surrounding Hunt County residents. We operate out of 1 fire station located on the town square.

How can I report a hazard? For all emergencies, call 911 immediately. 

Are you recruiting new members? Yes! See our recruitment page for more information.

Do you have an ambulance? Ambulances for our area are operated and staffed by the Hunt Regional Hospital. They are centrally located around the county standing by to respond with us to emergencies. 
 

Are you a paid fire department? No, our firefighters, EMTs, and Paramedics are all 100% volunteer.

Can we come for a tour? We would be happy to show you around our firehouse. Message us to schedule a station tour.

Can a fire engine come to my house for a birthday party? Appearances in our district may be available, contact us for an inquiry!
